About our client

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-location automotive retail group that sells, finances, and services its own auto loans. The company expects to nearly double in size over the next 14 months and has a ten-year plan to grow several times larger. It is bringing marketing analytics in-house and building it as a core capability.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Strategy Analyst to lead marketing analytics: decide what the company tests, judge whether the data can be trusted, and turn findings into recommendations for marketing and operations leaders.

This is a strategy role built on technical depth. You'll set direction, and you'll need to understand how marketing data moves from first click to funded loan well enough to design it and catch when it breaks. Strong data and marketing analytics fundamentals are a requirement, because you can't build good strategy on numbers you can't trust.

Your first 120 days

You'll spend the first month learning the funnel, the data, and the attribution setup. By day 120, you'll own the marketing data pipeline, website testing, and email and SMS reporting, and you'll have helped launch a remarketing program for returning customers. We'll walk through the full 120-day plan in the first interview.

Ideal candidate profile

The company looks for mastery, not ego: people who are humble, hungry, and smart, care more about getting it right than being right, and teach themselves what they need.

  • Experience in marketing analytics, growth, or performance marketing where you tied spend to sales, revenue, or customer value, not just leads and clicks
  • Hands-on work with paid media, attribution, and website testing, plus email and SMS marketing
  • A clear sense of how marketing data moves between ad platforms, a website, a CRM, and a warehouse, and how to tell when it breaks
  • Daily use of AI in your analysis, including habits for giving it context and checking what it gives back
  • Recommendations that changed how a leadership team spent money or ran marketing
  • Automotive, lending, or multi-location retail experience is a plus, not a requirement

Why this role

The auto business has a lot of layers: marketing results depend on inventory, approvals, credit quality, and how long customers stay. Automotive experience isn't required. What matters is intellectual hunger, the drive to learn the business quickly. You work directly with business and technical leaders, and the seat grows with the company.
