About Aravolta

Aravolta builds the monitoring and controls platform for data centers. Our hardware and software connect everything in the building, from chillers and generators to servers and cameras, and put live data and AI on top of it.

This is not a demo stage product. Our systems run in more than 100 facilities across 8 countries, for colocation providers, AI cloud operators, and data center developers in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Our engineers ship real hardware to real sites and commission it on plant floors. Deals are six and seven figures.

Sales here is founder led. You work directly with the CEO and COO, filling their calendar and learning the cycle from the people who close it.

Why Now

Data center spending is on pace to top $1 trillion this year, and the biggest cloud and AI companies in the world are driving it. The software that runs and monitors those buildings is a rounding error against that number, which means most of the market has not picked a platform yet.

Whoever gets in front of the buyer first tends to keep the account for the life of the facility, because nobody rips out a working monitoring system in a live data center. That is the opportunity in front of you: a ground floor seat in the fastest growing infrastructure market on earth, at the company built to win the control layer under it.

The Role

We are hiring a setter. Your job is to get us in front of the people who run data centers: VPs of operations, directors of critical facilities, and the executives at colocation and AI cloud companies. You call them, you email them, you find them on conference lists, and you book qualified meetings for the founders. We close.

This industry still answers the phone. The people who run these buildings are operators, not inbox people, and almost nobody cold calls them well.

What You Will Do

  • Build your own lead lists in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, pull attendee lists from industry conferences, and research accounts before you call: new builds, expansions, AI capacity deals, who owns operations. Built your own lead-gen process or tools before? Even better.
  • A real call block every day: 50 to 80 dials with a dialer and a clean list, backed by email and LinkedIn sequences.
  • Tracking every lead and every follow-up like it matters, because it does: knowing exactly what is working, what needs another touch, and never letting a good one go cold.
  • Booking qualified meetings with the people who run data centers, VPs of operations, directors of critical facilities, and executives at colocation and AI cloud companies, confirming every one and keeping the show rate high.
  • Sitting in on the meetings you book to learn discovery and demos.
  • The conference play at shows like DCD Connect and Data Center World: pull the attendee list, book the calendar before landing, walk the floor together, building real relationships with the people who run these buildings as you go.
  • Learning the industry: BMS, EPMS, DCIM, SCADA. You do not need to know these words today, you need to WANT to learn them.

Your First 90 Days

DaysWhat happens
1-30You are on the phone and in LinkedIn Sales Navigator in week one. Learn the pitch by making calls, not by studying. Build your own lead lists and your outbound machine as you go: Sales Navigator, conference lists, sequences, a system for knowing who you have talked to and what happens next. Book your first meetings in the first two weeks and sit in on every one that holds.
30-60Full call blocks every day and the founders' calendar shows it: 8 to 10 meetings booked a month. You write the pre-call brief for every meeting you book and you own the follow-up notes. The industry vocabulary is starting to stick.
60-90Holding 10 to 12 qualified meetings a month with a show rate above 80 percent. You open the meetings you booked and run the first ten minutes of discovery before handing off. From here the AE track starts.

In this market a single good meeting can turn into a seven figure account, so every one counts and you get paid on every one.

Who Does Well Here

  • Hunter instincts: you already live in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and conference lists, and you have built a lead list from scratch before, not just worked one someone handed you.
  • Pure sales drive: you already hit the phones and make your own connections, and you want a bigger stage for it.
  • Hungry for the exponential curve: you would rather bet on a ground floor seat in a fast growing market than sit at an established company.
  • Fast technical pickup: no data center background required, but you are curious about the technology and pick up a new vocabulary quickly.
  • Full cycle ambition: you want this to become an AE seat, and eventually to own the full client relationship, not just the first meeting.

Where This Goes

The first great BDR here becomes our first AE. As you prove the motion you take over discovery calls, then demos, then your own deals end to end.

And this job moves. Conferences and customer sites all around America, then Europe and Singapore as you grow into the cycle. Data centers are the fastest growing infrastructure market in the world, and you will sit across the table from the people powering it while you learn how these deals actually get done, from first call to signed contract. There are very few good salespeople in this industry. Learning to sell here sets up a career.

Comp

Base salary $80,000 to $85,000, plus uncapped commission on every qualified meeting held: $100 per meeting at a 10 a month pace, $125 at 15 a month, $150 at 20 or more a month. On top of that, a 1% kicker on the value of every deal that closes, paid at year end.

Monthly paceCommissionBase + commission
15 meetings, a great pace$1,875/mo$102,500-$107,500
20+ meetings$3,000+/mo$116,000-$121,000+
30+ meetings, the tenured pace on the team today$4,500+/mo$134,000-$139,000+

Every figure above is base plus commission only. The 1% deal kicker sits on top of that, and it is not capped.
