Business Development Representative

Read the full role description

Aravolta is hiring a Business Development Representative to run pure outbound for a founder led sales motion at a data center software company riding the AI infrastructure boom.

Aravolta's monitoring and controls platform runs in more than 100 facilities across 8 countries, for colocation providers, AI cloud operators, and data center developers. Deals are six and seven figures. You will work directly with the CEO and COO, filling their calendar and learning the cycle from the people who close it.

Data center spending is on pace to top $1 trillion this year, and the software that runs and monitors those buildings is a rounding error against that number. Whoever gets in front of the buyer first tends to keep the account for the life of the facility. That is the opportunity, and it is why this seat exists.

We're looking for clear signal around the following:

  • Hunter instincts: you already live in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and conference lists, and you have built a lead list from scratch before, not just worked one someone handed you
  • Pure sales drive: you already hit the phones, cold call, and make your own connections, and you want a bigger stage for it
  • Hunger for the exponential curve: this industry is compounding fast, and you would rather bet on a ground floor seat than sit at an established company
  • Fast technical pickup: no technical background required, but you can learn the language of data center infrastructure (BMS, EPMS, DCIM, SCADA) quickly
  • Full cycle ambition: you want the setter seat to become the AE seat, not stay the setter seat
  • Ownership over time: eventually taking a client relationship past the first meeting, monthly check ins, helping a new customer's team ramp

The application below is quick, just a handful of questions built to show us how you hunt and how you hustle.

Please complete this form thoughtfully.
