About Tony Robbins, RRI
At Tony Robbins, Robbins Research International, we do not build products. We build experiences that move people. As the world's leading personal development and peak performance organization, our mission is to help people create lasting transformation in their lives, businesses, relationships, and health. Our digital products carry that mission to clients at the moments that matter most, the moments they decide to change.
We are hiring a part-time HR Administrator to be the warm, reliable first point of contact for the team behind that mission. If you are driven by service, obsessed with getting the details right, and ready to make every team member feel cared for from day one, this is your moment.
----
About the Role
We are looking for a people and service oriented, highly organized HR Administrator to help create a great experience for our team members from day one. In this part-time role, you will be a friendly, go-to resource for employees: welcoming new hires, answering questions about pay and benefits, and supporting the everyday HR operations that keep our people cared for and our culture thriving.
This is a true ownership seat. You will work shoulder to shoulder with IT, Finance, and leadership on a small, tight-knit team, and you will own HR administration end to end: onboarding, payroll support, benefits, employee transitions, and the questions in between. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific, so our team always knows exactly when and where to find you. There is some flexibility on timing, but consistent daily coverage is the backbone of this seat.
We care about accuracy and warmth in equal measure. We want to see someone who treats a payroll detail and a new hire's first day with the same level of care. If you love helping people and take pride in getting the details right, we would love to meet you.

What You Will Do
Onboarding + New Hires
- Own new hire onboarding from offer acceptance through day one: prepare and send offer letters and new hire paperwork through our HRIS, coordinate background checks and drug screenings, and keep candidates and leadership informed along the way.
- Partner with IT so every new team member has their equipment and system access ready on day one, help coordinate new hire orientation, and send welcome kits that celebrate each arrival.
- Guide new hires through benefits enrollment, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
Payroll + HRIS
- Support payroll by pulling reports from our HRIS and CRM platforms, sharing them with leadership and department leaders, and partnering with employees and managers to keep timesheets accurate, approved, and submitted on time.
- Assist with payroll adjustments such as mid-payroll ACH payments, prorated pay for new hires, and sick pay calculations for commissioned employees, and keep employee records current in the HRIS for pay changes, promotions, and status changes.
Benefits + 401(k)
- Be a helpful, approachable resource for employee questions about pay, benefits, time off, and policies, processing qualifying life events, supporting annual open enrollment, and preparing monthly benefit cost reports.
- Help administer the 401(k) plan, including contribution changes, loan repayments, and new account setup, and review benefits carrier reports and resolve discrepancies so coverage stays accurate.
Offboarding + Transitions
- Support respectful, smooth employee transitions: exit communications and exit interviews, offboarding coordination with IT, final pay and vacation payouts, and COBRA continuation coverage.
Employee Support
- Handle employment verification requests, unemployment and state disability claim forms, and HR-related vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
Culture + Engagement
- Help administer our employee recognition and service award programs, support engagement initiatives, and maintain employee records and performance documentation with confidentiality, including year-end activities such as payroll and holiday calendars.

What We Are Looking For
Experience + Availability
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in HR administration, payroll, or a closely related role is required, with working knowledge of core HR processes, payroll requirements, and employee benefits administration. We care more about demonstrated skill than the exact number of years, but this is not an entry-level role.
- Daily availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific. There is some flexibility, but this role requires someone present every day for a set window of time.
Systems + Knowledge
- Experience with an HRIS or payroll platform; Rippling preferred.
- An understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, lookups (VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP), and pivot tables, plus familiarity with Salesforce and pulling reports.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and video tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
How You Work
- A warm, approachable communicator who makes employees feel heard and supported.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially with payroll and benefits data, plus discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Strong organization and time management: a self-directed, proactive problem solver who balances multiple priorities within a part-time schedule and follows through.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys partnering with IT, Finance, and leadership, and who is adaptable and eager to learn new systems and processes.
----
Nice to Have
- Human resources education courses or an HR certificate.
- Experience with benefits carrier and 401(k) administration portals.
- Experience supporting a commissioned or sales-driven workforce.
- Background in personal development, coaching, wellness, events, media, or subscription businesses.
- Comfort in a high-ownership environment where you run your own queue and keep commitments without close oversight.

Compensation
This role pays $30 per hour. It is a part-time, remote, work from home position at 20 to 22 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific, with some flexibility. Candidates must be US based, and Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones are preferred.
----
Why This Role
At most companies, HR administration is back office work. At Tony Robbins, it is the front line of our culture. The experience we create for our own team has to match the experience we create for the millions of people we serve, and you are the person who makes that true: the first welcome a new hire receives, the steady hand behind every accurate paycheck, and the calm, caring answer when a team member needs help. Few part-time roles carry this much trust or this much impact.

How to Apply
Apply through this page. You will be asked focused questions about your HR administration and payroll experience, your attention to detail, and your daily availability.
For example, one question will ask you to walk us through a time you caught a payroll or benefits error before it reached an employee.
We personally review every submission. If your application moves forward, you will hear from us within a few business days.
Robbins Research International is an equal opportunity employer.
Every application is reviewed by our recruiting team, and you'll hear back either way.
